The entrance each college runs itself, spot admission on the day, the fee, and sixteen colleges.
How does admission to a Pokhara University engineering degree work?
Pokhara University is the most spread-out engineering system in Nepal and the least centrally run. The regulator registers sixteen engineering colleges under it, across eleven districts from Dhangadhi to Urlabari, and there is no university-wide BE entrance at all: the university’s own admission procedure puts the examination on the college, which invites applications, sets its own date and may interview before selecting. Its own School of Engineering at Pokhara ran its 2083 entrance on 7 August 2026, published a merit list of 1,246 names the next day, then filled its seats by merit-based spot admission on 13 and 14 August, calling rank bands with a clock time against each. It publishes a whole four-year fee where almost nobody else does, Rs 6,23,000 for Civil and Rs 5,87,200 for five other programmes, and its scholarship reserves 10 per cent of affiliated seats and 20 per cent of constituent seats.
